Heather Armstrong's book comes out ... I have to wait, though, since my mom ordered it for my birthday and I won't get to pick it up until Friday. But I took a quick look when I was at Borders today. I'm very excited.

Check it out: It Sucked and Then I Cried: How I Had a Baby, A Breakdown, and a Much Needed Margarita

Karen I read excerpts from this book and I can't believe how much Heather sounds like me. As you know, I suffer from depression and it is a real affliction. I only wish that I knew this 29 years ago when you were born and I barely held it together because back then depression was considered a figment of my imagination. Heather really hit the nail on the head when she wrote about certain parts of her brain not connecting unless she was on medication. I can really testify to that. I want to read the book as soon as you finish reading it. Depression is ugly and maybe this book will let people know just how difficult it can be to live in the doldrums of such an insidious disease.

I'm guessing you will have enough time to read the book before I get there Friday ... if you want to. So you don't have to wait until I'm done.
